So much more....

"My response is to get down on my knees before the Father, this magnificent Father who parcels out all heaven and earth. I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God." (Ephesians 3:16-19)

I absolutely *adore* the artwork on your blog! And your favorite books are all favorites of mine, as well. (Can't you tell a LOT about someone by the books she loves to read??)

I appreciate your visit to my blog. It is always sooooo lovely when someone leaves a comment. Thank you!

Enjoy your delightful two-year-old. I'm sure all the middle aged women in your life have told you - but it is true - those years fly by. Before you can blink, Joshua will be graduating from high school.

Oh...and in spite of all the poking fun I sometimes do at the "all natural" types, in reality I've studied for years about herbal remedies, and have a large collection of books about "simple living". I completely enjoy natural remedies and simple living, minus the new age mumbo jumbo.

I think Christians should take back what is originally ours to begin with - natural and divine health!!

Well, I've blabbed enough. If you are ever in the east Tn. area, email me, and perhaps I can treat you to some good ol' southern BBQ! :-)

Hi Sheila,
Thankyou for visiting my blog. :) Isn't that funny, I noticed too that we enjoy the same authors.

I too enjoy 'simple living' in theory although I have not had the chance to explore it as much as I would like. I wasn't sure however if you had mixed me up with another blogger by some of the comments in my post. I do not have a 2 year old named Joshua. In any case, I will take your advice and enjoy my children ;) time does fly indeed, my first born enters the teen years this week!

I get it! I see...sorry. You have a budding TEENAGER. Oh wow...how FUN! You are in for the BEST years of alllll your mothering. You are gonna enjoy it, I promise.

They aren't easy years, but they are immensely gratifying and intense and fun.

I'm adding you to my "blog roll"...hope it works.
